Our founder, Daniel Berezeanu, P.Eng., has spent more than 20 years in healthcare technology — co-chairing IHE IT Infrastructure, sitting on the IHE International Board, and contributing to HL7 and ISO. Our software has run in production since 2019; we've run clients' IT since 2020.

Interop IT is a boutique technology firm in Québec City that architects, builds, and runs the systems organizations depend on. It offers healthcare IT and interoperability consulting (HL7, FHIR, IHE), custom software and AI, and managed IT and security — one accountable team from the first whiteboard session through long-term operations.

No. Our roots are in healthcare interoperability, which is among the most demanding standards work in technology, but we build software and run IT for businesses of every kind. The same rigour applies to every system we touch.

Yes. We regularly start with a short technical assessment of what exists, then recommend whether to finish, refactor, or replace it. You get a straight answer before any build begins.

We are based in Québec City and work in French and English with clients across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
