Who is behind Interop IT?

Interop IT was founded in 2019 in Québec City by Daniel Berezeanu, P.Eng., a professional engineer with more than 20 years in healthcare technology and interoperability standards leadership at IHE, HL7, and ISO. A small core team of developers and an AI automation specialist is extended by a trusted network of senior specialists.

Our story

Born in healthcare standards.

Interoperability — systems that communicate and function together without restrictions — is the hardest problem in healthcare IT. We've spent our careers on it.

Along the way we saw the same pattern everywhere: strategy from one firm, software from another, operations from a third, and value lost at every handoff. Interop IT exists to be one partner from whiteboard to production, and beyond.
